Why do I have such crazy love for these beautiful ladies!
Is it the memories of my childhood crossing the street to my somehow claimed Aunt Minnie and Uncle Henry, so she could walk me around her yard telling me about all of her flowers and chickens or is it just the pure joy I get from watching them grow and bloom?
What I do know is they bring me so much joy and happiness I could fill my entire yard with them.
About 10 years ago I discovered yellow peonies and have fallen in my love with them. Is it time to stop after being the proud Mama to 10 of them? Probably not.
I recommend anyone who is just beginning to garden to start with peonies! They give so much and require so little! You plant them in Sunshine and happiness grows!
