Water Trough Gardening…where have you been all my life?!? Gardening at almost 70, getting down to ground can be an acrobatic feet at times! We bought 1 small and 2 large water troughs this spring and I can honestly say I will never go back to my old ways.
Here’s how it works:
- I recommend putting wheels on the bottom of the trough if you want to move it around and prevent sitting on the ground rusting.
- Fill the trough with a mix bags of potting soil, organic manure and mulch in the trough (we got ours at Tractor Supply)
- Add your plants! I suggest planting a small vegetable garden, herb garden or flowers such as annuals or bulbs for color every year!
